On Saturday, Septermber 7th, Houska Automotive will be hosting their annual Houska Garage Band Event from 6-9pm. Houska Automotive has been putting on this event for many years as a way to bring the community together and support nonprofits and individuals in need. Enjoy food, drinks, and music while giving back to an important organization in our community, Partners Mentoring Youth.
Partners Mentoring Youth works to establish healthy relationships between role-model adults and local youth with personal, social, or academic struggles. Their mission is to support these young individuals through their mentoring program. Partners Mentoring Youth supports youth in different areas at their offices located in in Fort Collins, Estes Park, and Greeley.
Houska Automotive finds this organization’s mission important and beneficial for the struggling youth in our communities. With community ties, Houska Automotive connects with Partners Mentoring Youth as they believe it is important to come together with the individuals in their community and better the lives of others.
Houska Automotive plans to give all ticket proceeds back to Partners Mentoring Youth to acknowledge and support their benefit to Fort Collins youth. Tickets are $35 per person until August 31st, and $45 per person after August 31st. Children 12 and under will receive free admission. The event will include live music from The Blues Dogs, food and drinks, and a silent auction and door prize! This event will be hosted along with Overland Sertoma Club. Overland Sertoma Club also focuses on supporting struggling youth, as well as childhood speech and reading development.
