Shop Small to Make a Big Impact Saturday November 30

Started by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday has become a holiday shopping tradition that helps bring communities together in support of their favorite small businesses. This year, Small Business Saturday falls on November 30–banked by Black Friday and Cyber Monday–so we’re hoping in the midst of the shopping frenzy you won’t overlook your friendly small FoCo businesses. Not only do they provide unique gift options, but by supporting small independently owned businesses, you’re supporting the FoCo community. Shopping local:

Helps local economy thrive: When you buy locally, you are making an investment in your entire business community. Locally owned businesses are more likely to purchase from other local businesses and sell local products, keeping dollars in and around Fort Collins.

Celebrates FoCo’s Character: Small Business Saturday really helps celebrate the small boutiques and restaurants that help make our city so unique. Founded by community residents, Small Business Saturday helps support the businesses that help shape our city’s identity.

Better Shopping Experience: Smaller, locally owned businesses are less crowded and provide a more personal shopping experience. They are usually more passionate about the products they are selling, resulting in better customer service and expertise on the products.
