Road 34:  Where Bikes and Beer Embody Fort Collins Culture

Fort Collins has always been home to people who love biking. Every year, residents can expect to see a large number of fun biking-themed events in our community. Likewise, you will find numerous and varied events celebrating the incredible beer made in Fort Collins.  The beer culture contributes just as much to the core of Fort Collins and our identity as our biking background. Undeniably, both make our town remarkable and unique.

In 2000, Road 34 opened as the world’s first co-existing bike shop and beer bar. Situated at 1213 W. Elizabeth Street, their laid back vibe and eclectic selection of music creates an atmosphere that is cut loose and inviting. Walking distance from Colorado State University, the bike bar has become a hang out for not only locals looking to catch up, but for the entire college population. The inclusive business attracts people of all ages and walks of life, for not only their great beer and fair prices, but for their flavorful sub sandwiches and their assortment of classic games like shuffleboard, darts, and billiards. The primary gathering spot in Fort Collins for game nights, you can always expect the place to be filled with a good time. The bar locals and employees are always supporting CSU athletics and they host a large fan base for both home and away sporting events.

However, Road 34 isn’t just the place to be on game nights. You can expect them to consistently be hosting cool events and opportunities every week. They are regularly serving their customers with daily specials like generous happy hours Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. until close.
