Description
Join our Horticultural Production Crew and and you will experience a great hands on learning opportunity producing over 50,000 #1 perennials and thousands of potted trees and shrubs while spending lots of time outdoors! Position also includes unloading plant shipments, plant maintenance, facilities and grounds maintenance, and watering. No sales necessary!
Qualified candidates will be strong team players, have good attention to detail, and capable of physically demanding work (must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly).
Production Team Member responsibilities are:
- Potting up plants
- Caring for and maintaining plants
- Watering plants daily
- Unloading weekly shipments
- Assisting in stocking retail nursery
- Grounds and facilities repairs and maintenance
Production Team Member requirements are:
- Quick learner
- Attention to detail
- Enjoy plant production and care
- Capable of extended physical labor (must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly)
Position is seasonal with opportunity to work through the summer.
Starting wage is $12.50-$13.00/hr, DOE
