Help Ace Hardware of Fort Collins Support the Children’s Miracle Network!

Each Ace Hardware is locally owned and operated. But with over 5,000 stores across the country, Ace is able to make quite a splash with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Ace became a partner in 1991 and has since raised over $100 million for local CMN hospitals.

Children’s Miracle Network treats thousands of kids every day for cancer, trauma, surgeries, and more. Did you know that 62 children enter a CMN Hospital every minute? That’s a lot of kids, and the network is supported largely by donations, since insurance programs don’t always cover the cost of care.

When Ace came onto the scene, they began raising money through Round Up for Kids and Bucket Days. Our local Ace Hardware of Fort Collins of course also participates in the challenge. In 2018, the Aces nationally raised $1.5 million. But our local Ace Hardware of Fort Collins raised a record-breaking $7,100!

When you make a purchase at Ace Hardware of Fort Collins, you’ll be given the option to round up or make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network. The Round Up is going on now in August as well as during the holiday season. Ace also participates in the Annual Bucket Sale with this year’s promotion taking place August 2-4, 2019. Customers that purchase a 5-gallon bucket with a $5 donation to CMN get 20% off almost anything that can fit in the bucket! In past years, the Bucket Sale has been a wild success. The community benefits from a great sale, and the Children’s Miracle Network receives a lot of support as well.

In the past two years, Ace has jumped from $5,600 in 2017 to $7,100 in 2018! This massive increase would not have happened without the participation of the Fort Collins community. Tim Kenney, owner of Ace of Fort Collins, has set even higher goals for 2019. Tim says that his goal is to raise $9,000! “Children’s Miracle Network is a great organization that provides hope and healing to so many,” he said, “they touch so many children and their families.”

With help from the Fort Collins community, Ace can reach and even exceed their $9,000 goal in 2019. Be sure to round up your purchase today!
